Adingra in Brighton XI, Pedro and O’Riley on the bench
Brighton make a single change from the side that lost to Liverpool. With Ferdi Kadioglu out of the squad, Simon Adingra takes his place on the right wing.
The Seagulls’ bench brings good news, as Joao Pedro and Matt O’Riley are both available as they work back from injury.
Lewis Dunk remains sidelined, while Carlos Baleba is also among the substitutes as he recovers from a recent knee injury.
Bernardo and Akanji on the bench | Simpson-Pusey keeps starting spot
Manchester City have made two changes following their midweek defeat to Sporting CP. In defence, Manuel Akanji, who only narrowly made the Lisbon game, is replaced by Kyle Walker, allowing teenage centre-back Jahmai Simpson-Pusey to retain his spot.
Bernardo Silva, who recently described City’s form as being in a ‘dark place’ after the loss in Portugal, is on the bench as Ilkay Gundogan steps in.
Kevin de Bruyne and remain on the bench, still not fully fit, and Jack Grealish is absent despite his England call-up.
Brighton vs Manchester City in the Premier League kicks off at the Amex Stadium at 17:30 GMT on Saturday, November 9 2024.
